Armor Home

This harness is from the 16th century and features some very ornate decoration that involves embossing and and either black paint or gun blueing.

The helmet is a burgonet style with falling removable buffe sitting atop I would assume an articulated gorget. I love the besagews on this suit. The legs feature a laminated "lobster" style upper thigh and a broad bear toe saboton.

This armour is currently on display at the Chicago Museum of art.
